Internet Discussion Groups:
Caroline Munro Discussion Group
My own group
dedicated to lovely Caroline Munro. Not quite as busy as I would like it to be,
but whatever news there may be about her, you generally hear it here first.
Hammerfilm Discussion Group
Yahoo group for every Hammer related subject.
Definitely worth a visit.
Eurotrash Paradise
My other favourite group. Not
much Brit Horror related gets discussed here, but if you like horror and offbeat
flicks from Italy, Spain or other European countries, drop on by. There's pretty
much nothing in that area that the folks on this group don't know about.
General Glamour sites:

Not exactly a Glamour web site as such, but a web site dedicated to a new
magazine covering all the classic movies of the 60s and 70:
Cinema Retro. The mags
are choke full with excellent articles and rare photos and are bound to have
classy Glamour Galleries in pretty much all their issues. For me it is THE Must
Have magazine launch of the new Millenium. Groovy!!!

Another excellent French language web site dedicated to Scream
Queens. This one has more text and an abundance of info on Hammer Girls in
general and Caroline Munro, Ursula Andress, Martine Beswicke, Hazel Court and
Raquel Welch in particular.

Redhotplanet is a new site dedicated to the Babes of Sci Fi,
Horror and Fantasy. It is run by Bill George, long time editor of Femme
Fatales Magazine. This site promises an outstanding mixture of News and
Glamour photography with a very specific Fantasy/Horror related background. We
are talking about photos that will be *unique* to the site, not umpteen rehashes
of shots you've seen scores of times before. Can't wait to see the Jennifer
O'Dell Gallery!

Excellent web site dedicated to some of the most
beautiful women to ever grace our screens.
Swinging Chicks of the
60s
One of my favourite web sites! At current count it features 176
glamourous icons from the 1960s. Check here if your favourite star (or starlet)
has enough - ahem - Swinging credentials.
Glamour Girls of the Silver Screen
This web site provides a lot of chronological info on various Glamour Ladies,
including a lot of actresses that you generally know very little about. Most of
the site is free, but if you want to access all the photos you have to pay a
small fee. I didn't, so can't tell you whether it is worth doing so.

It must be true what they say about the French... This French
language site is beautifully designed and has a wide variety of galleries and
info on a good number of our favourite Scream Queens.
General Horror related sites:

Brand new blog dedicated to Paperback, Movies and Comics of the 70s Horror Boom.
The site's owner started off with one of his favourite subjects, a discussion
about the Italian Fumetti, a subject on which there is generally very little to
read online about. An absolute fascinating read and a site that is bound to turn
about in many people's bookmarks. Oh, and I also write on it about German trash
fiction.
General Hammer related sites:

Excellent French language Hammer site and discussion board. Well
worth checking out even if you don't speak La Langue Francaise as it also has a
bunch of great French poster scans etc.

This new Hammer site is
dedicated to an excellent collection of Australian Hammer posters. Well worth
checking out!!!!
Hammer
Films
Well, this is the official site, and it has
lately been much improved with news that is actually newsworthy and the addition
of an online shop. Previously it was only worth visiting occasionally, but now
it is mandatory viewing. The company may no longer produce films, but they are
getting pretty active lately when it comes to marketing merchandise.
The UNofficial Hammer Films Site
The UNofficial Hammer site, but a Must Visit
place for anyone interested in the company's movies and current DVD releases. It
also has a nice number of reviews for general non-Hammer related horror
movies.
Little Shoppe of
Horrors
The world's best and longest running Hammer fanzine, Little Shoppe of Horrors,
has finally found an online presence. They have just started, but promise to
continuously make older articles available from magazines that now cost up to
hundreds of dollars on the collectors market. Great job, Dick!
The Hammer Books Library
As much as I love the Internet:
With regards to Hammer movies, printed work still offers the most in-depth look
at the company's output and of that of the artists working in front of and
behind the cameras. This site offers an excellent overview over all of the
books and magazines ever printed about our favorite studio. It also has
sub-sections on Amicus and American International and often gives general ideas
about the price of these editions on the collector's market.
Peter
Cushing Museum
Though the aim of this link page is to concentrate more on
general Hammer related links, not so much on individual talents, the Museum
needs to be highlighted for the tremendous work it does in celebrating the life
of the late great Peter Cushing. Chris Gullo, the web master, has also finished
a book about the actor, "In all sincerity.... Peter Cushing", that will be
available later on this year.
The Hammer Film Web Ring
Not sure where to start? This web
ring lists a bunch of interesting web sites dedicated to Hammer in general as
well as individual talent involved with the studio.
Hammer House of Horror
General introduction to Hammer
movies with a nice collection of various Hammer posters and other stuff.
Hammer Castle
An absolute nightmare to navigate and access
for poor folks like me who are still using dial up connections. Due to its
overreliance on heavy soundfiles and snazzy graphics, some of the pages take an
eternity to load. The site does have a couple of interesting scans of Hammer
posters and screen caps, though.
London Postcard Company
Publishers of a whole range of
great Hammer related postcards. Every home should have some.
Web
Horror
A large web site dedicated not just to Hammer, but Horror in
general.
The
Highgate Vampire
This is a site dedicated to a very unusual subject: the Highgate Vampire. On top
of an in-depth look at the history of this creature, the site also regularly
discusses everything to do with Highgate Cemetery, including films that were
shot there. This also includes various references to Hammer movies. Well worth
checking out even just for the novelty factor.
