The Secrets of a Sensuous Nurse, The Nurse, I
Will If You Will
Review by Robert Foye
I admit to being a long time fan of
Ursula Undress, er, Andress – from the
moment she joined Sean Connery in Dr No and later appeared in an Alfred
Hitchcock Hour episode on TV. Somehow over the years I missed even the tape
release of this one. But am I glad I finally caught up with it! Ursula appears
totally in the buff on numerous occasions, and looking just fine for a lady who
was pushing forty (she was born in 1936). Also appearing in the nude is Carla
Romanelli as a servant who seems to strip sometimes just for the hell of it -
also a very welcome sight. What to say about Luciana Paluzzi? She also gets
naked, but no pubic hair from this veteran actress. Still, her brief scene is
worth catching. No Japanese reservations here - if it's showing - photograph it!
This is a well made comedy by Nello Rossati concerning the machinations of two heirs and their wives to help a winery owner finally meet his maker. His present illness was the result of too much sexual activity putting a strain on his heart. Enter The Sensuous Nurse played by Ursula, as an acquaintance of one of the heirs, and engaged to stimulate her patient's libido which presumably will let him exit this mortal coil and allow the heirs to inherit. After assurances by the doctor that the patient has only hours to live, he instead starts to improve. Things go downhill from there.
Good cinematography, nice musical score, and the usual great NoShame transfer make this a worthwhile addition to any DVD collection.
