How many times before did I need to write that there was sweet eff all about a Hammer actress online? Yep, right: Too bloody many! Just one of these days I would like to see that mysteriously enough there are scores of web sites out there about a Hammer starlet that I was previously not aware off, but, nah, there usually is precious little with the exception of individual film reviews and of course the IMDB entry that is so blatantly obvious I generally don't even bother mentioning it. But then again, this scarcity of material out there is the reason that I started my own Hammer Glamour pages in the first place, so I guess I shouldn't be whining too much.
So clutching at straws, here's whatever little I uncovered about Isobel Black:

First stop in your quest for Isobel Black should be this website that has a
couple of nice rare photos of the actress.
Astrotheme
This is the English language version of an originally
French language
website with a very in depth look at Isobel Black's star sign that has me
really baffled for various reasons: Can it really be that she is so big in
France that an esoteric web site such as this is able to spend such a huge
amount of space on her astrological whatchamacallits when no other web site out
there seems to be interested in writing only a small narrow portion about her
life and career? Even more baffling is the recorded birth date of December 27,
1943 at 12:30 as generally her birth date is recorded as December 15! Given that
there is such a huge emphasis on exact dates of birth in Astrology and that the
writer has this subject very dear to his (or her) heart, it is hard to fathom
that they would then make such a huge blunder. Maybe the generally accepted date
of December 15 is wrong after all and esoteric as this site may be, it may have
highlighted yet another of a myriad of Hammer mysteries.
Then again the site has a gigantic number of other celebrity star signs that I
gather these are computer generated prognosis with very little human touch, so
the difference in the birth dates probably says more about them than about the
real birth date.
I can't believe I have wasted so much time speculating about Astrology!
